Description

Ideal soil preparation at high speeds with Methys HDS TW 8000!
Methys is designed to keep up with high speeds during the harvesting season, saving valuable time. With an impressive working speed of up to 14 km/h and aggressive Razor discs, it evenly mixes straw and crop residues with the soil, reducing the risk of weed issues and creating optimal conditions for seeding.
Designed for high speeds

Designed for high speeds

During harvest, it can be challenging to find time for and prioritize soil cultivation. However, achieving a quality seedbed in a single pass can offer numerous benefits. Methysen boasts an impressive working speed of up to 14 km/h without compromising the quality of the seedbed. The clever placement of the transport axle on the chassis provides exceptional stability to the disc tools, ensuring superior maneuverability and high precision. The working depth can be individually adjusted between the disc rows and conveniently controlled hydraulically from the driver's seat, saving time and increasing productivity.

Efficient management of crop residues and weeds

With straw and crop residues in the field, weeds can begin to grow and create unfavorable conditions for both the current harvest and the subsequent crop. Methysen's high working speed, combined with its aggressive Razor discs, ensures that the straw is evenly mixed into the loosened soil, initiating decomposition immediately to avoid interference during harvesting. Methysen's rubber tire roller, designed like a seed drill, creates a false seedbed that prevents weed growth while providing optimal conditions for the seeder.

Technology contributing to improved gas exchange and biological diversity

Technology contributing to improved gas exchange and biological diversity

Methysen is designed to be used in regenerative farming practices to enhance soil health by minimizing or eliminating deep soil cultivation. Over time, reduced soil disturbance improves gas exchange in the soil, benefiting microorganisms and increasing biological diversity. Additionally, Methysen helps prevent soil compaction, reducing the risk of waterlogging and promoting a healthy soil structure. With Methysen, you can ensure better and more sustainable soil health for future crops.

Cost savings through efficient soil cultivation

There is much to be gained in terms of time and cost savings when it comes to soil cultivation. It often requires multiple passes, which can be expensive in terms of both labor and machinery costs. Instead, shallow soil cultivation can significantly reduce the time required, as it necessitates fewer passes to achieve the desired results. With Methysen and its low power requirements that reduce fuel consumption, coupled with its rubber tire roller designed for maximum efficiency, operational costs can be up to 25% lower compared to traditional steel ring rollers.

Exceptional mulching of residues

Exceptional mulching of residues

This latest generation cultivation tool provides an ideal soil preparation for the implementation of your future crops:Degradation of crop residues by the achievement of a homogeneous mulch and refining the soil and creating a seedbed conducive to good crop emergence.

Depth control

The 2 versions of METHYS HDS TW6000 and TW8000 are equipped with a system of hydraulic depth adjustment. The beams disc holders are mobile and rotate independently between the back and the front ensuring greater stability in loose soils (back row deeper). This adjustment is made by a robust and proven system of aluminum clip on spacers. These are arranged at the front of the machine for easy access and safely (2 setpoints in 6.00 m and 3 in 8.00 m).

High penetration capacity

High penetration capacity

Thanks to its embossed Razor discs 514 mm diameter positioned in V, the Methys tillage tool is adapted to work on stubble at high speeds up to 14 km / h.

Low traction needs saves power

The offset tires roller of Methys guarantees a powerfull soil consolidation and excellent pass on all types of soils, even in sticky conditions. With its large diameter tires positioned on 3 rows, it is very fast and requires little traction power. Its proven design is a pledge of robustness and efficiency.
